100% Coeliac Safe Dining at Meantime

Since 2021, Meantime has proudly operated as a 100% gluten-free kitchen, built with one clear promise: safe dining for people with coeliac disease — no exceptions, no risks.

We understand how serious gluten exposure can be, and we know that “gluten-friendly” isn’t enough. That’s why our kitchen is completely free of gluten — and we have strict procedures in place to ensure it stays that way.

What We Mean by 100% Gluten-Free Kitchen

  • No Gluten in the Kitchen — Ever
    Our kitchen has a zero-gluten policy. No gluten-containing ingredients or products are allowed in — not in the pantry, fridge, or prep areas. Even if a guest brings in a celebration cake, those items never go into the kitchen. Plates, knives, and serving tools are washed separately at the bar.

  • Made From Scratch, In-House
    Every dish we serve is made entirely in-house, so we know exactly what’s in it — from sauces and breads to desserts and garnishes. We don’t rely on pre-made or outsourced items with hidden ingredients.

  • Double-Checked Deliveries
    All ingredients are carefully sourced and checked before entering the building. Deliveries are reviewed to confirm gluten-free status and rejected if there’s any uncertainty.

  • Staff Training & Protocols
    Our kitchen and floor staff are trained in coeliac safety — and we regularly review our procedures to make sure we’re meeting the highest standard.

What About Drinks?

While our kitchen is 100% gluten-free, some of our alcohol selection may contain gluten. These are stored and served completely separate from the kitchen, with no risk of cross-contact with food or kitchen equipment.
